The good news is that the IRS is making progress on processing returns. As of June 25, there were 16.7 million 2019 and 2020 Forms 1040 waiting for action. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do if you're affected by the delay, other than continuing to check the "Where's My Refund" tool on the IRS's website.
